Euro jersey

As part of the trip we visited Euro jersey, a fabric manufacturer who produce microfiber sensitive material. They make fabric for Next, John Lewis, Dolce and Gabbana and Prada.
It was really interesting to be shown the complete process the company goes through, from the design, manufacturing, and product testing and marketing.

The Manufaction it self was really interesting, the whole process was explained to us by the marketing director. My favourite part of the production process was the ‘colour kitchen’ where the different colours are mixed. It is all done by computers the dye is never touched by human hands.

The factory was very eco friendly. Waste material was recycled and given to charity; heat and water are also recycled. The whole company is aware of how they are performing in terms of eco responsibility with interactive billboards providing statistic on water etc.

How the product is created forms a huge part of the marketing plan for the company. This was great to see how even in marketing you need to know the whole processes the products goes through.
