Foundation of British interior Design

Before Christmas i also visited the Design Museum to see the Terence Conran, The way we Live Now exhibition. The exhibition explored his impact on British life and design.  The show explored his work and legacy highlighting work from the festival of Britain, Pop culture and the design boom in the 80's.

I particularly enjoyed the sections on his work for Habitat, an interior design shop covering everything from furniture, textiles, lighting and much more. I have always loved Habitat's product and store interiors so was great to see how the company had began. Unfortunately Habitat no longer have stores with selected stock available online, its sad that a one of the best interior design brands no longer exist on the high-street.
