Spring Summer trends

Spring has hit the runways, its finally time to start shedding the shearling and welcome in the new sexy light fabrics and color of spring/ summer.
The catwalks were awash with bold bright colours. Just what we needed to wash away the dull and cold of winter. This bright trend is not for the faint hearted as you’ll be sure to turn heads in these bold colour blocks. The high street is already starting to filter in there versions of this trend. To keep ahead of the fashion pack be sure to keep an eye out for 'Look' magazine who have there favourite fashion picks from the high street featured in the magazine. A great way to see those key pieces before anyone else.

On the other end of the scale this season is minimalism, think clean cuts, silver, white and black. This is luxury minimalism at its best and a great way to make a style statement against the colour blocks that are sure to be huge this summer.

There is a vast choice of styles for us to pick and choose from this season. There is the biker chic as featured by Balmain, tough leather jacket, studs and leather trousers are perfect for those fashionistas that like their fashion fierce. For those who prefer the more feminine look, there are many styles to choose this season.

The 70’s offers elegance and glamour, full flowing dresses and high waisted trousers paired with sheer blouses, and on the other side of the 70’s trend is the bohemian.
60’s femininity is set to be huge with figure hugging dresses perfect for those with an hourglass figure. Prints are also set to be huge once again and can be worked into any of the key styles.

The wardrobe must haves are; high waisted wide leg trousers to work the 70s elegance trend, and a lace dress, but step away from the normal black lace and pick a bright colour hue for those summer evenings.
This summer I will be mixing the ideas of elegance and glamour from the 70’s trend but pairing with a leather jacket to keep that rock edge.
The great thing about this season is you can pick what woman you want to be whether it’s the 70’s elegance, 60’s femininity or bold and bright. Most importantly have fun with your style and enjoy the summer.
