Diesel Island

Diesel has launched a truly inspired summer marketing campaign. They have taken their ‘be stupid’ campaign and evolved it into a new interactive online community Diesel Island.
Diesel Island is a virtual island which customers can become inhabitants of, shaping the island laws, watching viral videos, meeting other citizens and buying diesel clothing.

As well as the online island there are live events that customers can attend via a Diesel passport. These are collected from Diesel stores acting as island embassies. The events are based around the Diesel philosophy ‘be stupid’

I attended the dance lesson with totally enormous extinct dinosaurs. It was held upstairs in Spanky Van Dykes. It was soo much fun. There weren’t too many people there, which was a shame as it was such a good evening. The dancers were amazing. Other events from around the country included a lesson on taxidermy.
