I got an email from J Model Management about the fashion show on the 30th of June. I am going to be a dresser for the show. Other activities include packing boxes and gift bags and transferring to the venue.Unfortunately they had changed the agreed 3 days to 5 days adding a compulsory 3 in Birmingham. There was no way I could make the 3 days. I live to far to commute (train at 5 in the morning!) and as a student I can’t really afford to pay for a hotel.
So sadly I had to tell them I would no longer be able to make the show. I’m really disappointed as I would have loved to help out and seen all the amazing clothes. But Id like to think everything happens for a reason, and am going to start applying for new internships to do over the summer.
